Shopping in Girona


When it's time to take a break from sightseeing in Girona, there are plenty of shopping options to keep you entertained.



Ribes del Ter open air market is held on Tuesday and Saturday mornings in Devesa park. With over 200 stalls you can buy everything from local food products to clothes and gifts. The park itself is well worth visiting with some of it's trees 55 metres tall.


 

Mercat Del Lleo is the municipal market of Girona. It is a covered market, with around 50 stalls, selling fresh and cooked food, coffee and wine, it's open Monday to Saturday mornings and Friday Evenings

 

Espai Girones is a shopping centre to fill in time on a rainy day, with brand name stores like Desiguel, Zara and Pull & Bear over 2 levels, and a cinema and food court. Espai Girones is in Salt, a suburb approx 5 minutes by taxi or a 5 minute walk from central Girona.


 

Ramba de la Llibertat

Rambla Libertat runs parallel with the Onyar river, it's a lively tree lined street with to satisfy your eating, drinking and shopping desires. On the first Saturday of every month there is an Artisan food fair.
