Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary

  • There are 2 viewing platforms, feeding times are:

    • Platform A: 9.30am and 2.30pm

    • Platform B: 11.30am and 4.30pm

  • There is also a video show at Platform B at:​

    • 10.15am and 3.15pm​

Admission Fee:​

Getting there:​

  • Approx 44km NW of the Sabah Hotel

  • Free parking

  • last part of the road is gravell but safe for normal cars

Sepilok Urangatan Rehabilitation Centre

Opening Hours:

  • Open for 2 sessions a day

    • Morning: 9am - 12pm

    • Afternoon: 2pm - 4pm

      • Feeding is at 10am and 3pm

Admission Fee:​

  • RM 30 per person

    • plus RM 10 for each camera

    • Ticket is valid for the whole day, can leave and re-enter

Getting there:​

  • Approx 20km drive west of the Sabah Hotel

  • Free parking, but carpark can get very full with tour groups

Useful info

  • Can't take bags or drinks inside

  • There is a cafe outside which is open all day 

  • the Sun Bears are next door

  • Good walking shoes and mosquito repellent are advised
