Trento can be explored on foot pretty easily, the train station in Trento is right opposite the Monument of Dante.


From Verona the train takes 57 minutes.


First stop

Monument of Dante

Built in 1896 in the park in front of the train station, this monument honors Dante Alighieri (Divine Comedy c.1319), symbolizing the peaceful coexistence of Italian and German languages during Trento's time in the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Castello del Buonconsiglio

Next on the itinerary is the formidable Castello del Buonconsiglio, a captivating fortress that's more than just bricks and stones – it's a living testament to Trento's evolution.
