Three nights in the hip Trastevere district of Rome

Our apartment has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is spread over 3 levels, with a balcony on the top level.

ITINERARY

1.55pm - Arrive in Rome, Italy

  • Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO)

  • Alitalia AZ61, from Madrid, Spain

  • Luggage allowance is 1 x 23 kg per person (check-in) it is not very expensive to add an extra bag if we need to - as long as we do it online and in advance

2.30pm - Taxi from the airport to our Trastevere apartment

  • Distance is 28km

  • travel time approx 25-30 minutes

  • a taxi should cost about 50 euro ($70 AUD) - a train or shuttle bus would be cheaper but take twice as long and not get us to the door - and by this time our luggage may be getting quite heavy.

3.00pm - Check into our home in Rome

  • The address is: Piazza dè Renzi, 28,

  • Check-in/key collection details will be advised closer to the time.

 

THE APARTMENT

Description by the owner

Air-conditioned apartment on three levels located on the third floor of a building with elevator. Entering, you are in the living room on the intermediate level, the main one, where is located the kitchen, equipped with all the amenities such as microwave, toaster, boiler, American coffee machine, etc.; A bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom provided with a tub with shower. Going down the stairs, accompanied by a fanciful wall bookcase, you reach a double bedroom with private bathroom with shower. On the top floor, which houses the master bedroom complete with a refined desk, there is the access to the terrace, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking and unforgettable view of the rooftops of Rome and, far into the distance, even the dome Saint Peter.

Throughout your stay, we will be in touch for any of your needs / emergency. Naturally, we will welcome you on arrival and we will greet you at departure, sure that your stay will be unforgettable.

The neighbourhood

Trastevere, a neighborhood full of history but especially of life. It is, in fact, one of the most lively and characteristic neighborhood of the city where, along the medieval streets, many typical restaurants and shops of all kinds and for every need are the protagonists. For lovers of culture, and not just of shopping, Trastevere has 40 churches, museums, fountains and historic buildings. The apartment is located at 150 meters from Piazza Trilussa from where, crossing the famous Ponte Sisto, you can reach Campo De 'Fiori, neighborhood of artists and markets, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Continuing to walk, you can reach Castel Sant'Angelo, 1.5 km from the apartment, and then the Vatican. As you can see, with the help of a map of Rome, the main attractions of the city can be reached walking, with pleasant and suggestive walks, but the laziest ones can choose between many public transports.

Getting around

The apartment is located in the center of Rome, where you can find all the public transports for all destinations.
