ITINERARY
2.20pm - Arrive in Orvieto, Italy
Trenitalia Regionale Veloce train
Journey time 1hr 20 mins
Departs from Rome Termini station at 1pm
Arrives at Piazza Matteotti, below Orvieto proper
Can be booked 7 days in advance
2.20pm - Travel by funicular up to the city centre
The funicular takes just a few minutes to travel up to Piazza Cahen
Entrance to the funicular is directly across the screet from the train station
It departs every 10 minutes between 7.15am and 8.30pm
Tickets cost €1.30 each, one way
2.30pm - Take a local bus and walk to the apartment
Bus A drops off closest to our accommodation, at the Duomo
It departs Piazza Cahen every 10 minutes
the trip takes about 5 minutes, along one fairly straight road, and then as soon as it makes a right turn you will be able to see the Duomo and its time to get off.
from there it is a 190 metre walk to the apartment

A wonderful apartment in Orvieto, 70 sqm large with luminous living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms (double and twin), bathroom with shower. The apartment is at the second floor of an historical palace in Via Duomo. It has been recently restored.
