Four nights in the heart of Madrid. Staying in a two bedroom, two level apartment. Located on Level 5 with an elevator (and then up 11 steps) with a rooftop terrace, this apartment is only 2 minutes walk from Sol, which is point in Madrid.

ITINERARY

2.00pm - Arrive in Madrid (approximate time)

  • Travel by train from Ronda

  • Total journey time is approx 4 hours

2.30pm - check into Ines's apartment

THE APARTMENT

The space

  • Fifth-floor duplex (building with elevator).

  • Two bedrooms furnished with twin-beds and a king-size bed respectively, plus a living-room with sofa-sleeper; fully-equipped independent kitchen and bathroom.

  • The charming terrace invites guests to sit and relax while enjoying he astonishing views of downtown Madrid.

  • This fully-equipped apartment offers every possible commodity: TV, wi-fi, glass-ceramic, electric and microwave ovens, fridge, wash. machine, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, silver- and table-ware, juicer, blender, hair-dryer, towels and sheets and bedspreads.

Guest access

  • The elevator is between floors, so you have to climb 11 steps.

Interaction with guests

  • Whenever possible we like to give our guests the keys personally. The time of entry and exit of the apartment is flexible, and we seek the best time for guests leaving and entering.

The neighbourhood

  • The incredible and superb location of the flat allows guests to enjoy and live the Madrid experience to the full. Within walking distance, guests will be able to visit the most emblematic areas of the city, including parks, distinctive alleys of old Madrid and cultural landmarks such as museums, palaces and theater houses.

  • In addition, guests will find a rich and varied offer of leisurely activities in the area: restaurants, small cafés, cocktail-bars, pubs, gastro-pubs interspersed with shops, movie theaters, live-music pubs, exhibitions and malls, all placed within walking distance from the flat.

Getting around

  • Puerta del Sol Square serves as a transport-hub for the whole city, so guests can pick up their own choice of transport to move around Madrid among metro, bus, train station, bike-renting and taxi.

Other things to note

  • The flat lies barely fifty meters away from the metro (Vodafone Sol Station), right behind the famous Clock at Puerta del Sol, down Calle Correo.

House Rules

  • No parties or events

  • Check in is anytime after 2PM

  • Since the flat belongs to a quite and tranquil building, we ask our guests to avoid throwing parties and to observe the sleeping hours of our neighbors (starting from 23h; 15h-16h siesta).

  • Aditionally, we ensure our guests keep volumes of TV, music and / or conversation at rational levels.

  • We also encourage our tenants to switch off lights, air-conditioner and heat facilities before leaving the apartment.

  • The flat is very quite and peaceful due to its location within the building.
