Train from Marrakesh to Rabat
Basic info:
Distance - 335 kms
Travel time - approx 4hrs
Train fare - 1st class is 195 dhs (approx AUD $23) per person
Buying tickets - cannot buy until we get there, don't usually sell out
What is the train like?
In first class there are 6 people/seats in a compartment
Second class is around 70 dhs cheaper and has 8 seats per compartment
If you book first class then you get an actual seat reservation, otherwise it is first come first served.
Important Info:
As we are travelling during Ramadan it is important to be aware that the usual on-board food and beverage services will not be operating during the day - ergo, we must bring our own drinks and snacks with us for the 4 hour journey.
Train times:
Depart 08.45am - Arrive 1.10pm
Depart 10.45am - Arrive 3.10pm
Depart 12.45pm - Arrive 5.10pm
